Mediation and arbitration

There is an increasing move toward resolving potential litigation matters by way of mediation. One of our directors, Mark Phillips, is an accredited mediator, having been accredited by CEDR, a leading UN commercial dispute resolution. Our team is able to assist clients to achieve the best possible mediated or arbitrated outcomes.

Corporate and Commercial Litigation

Our department runs large scale litigation matters. Our primary goal is to resolve matters in the most cost effective and efficient manner for clients without the necessity of litigation. Where this is unavoidable, our team is able to assist in the successful determination of the matter in court proceedings.

Liquidations and Business Rescue

We are able to assist with insolvencies and to advise on the provisions of the new Companies Act pertaining to liquidations and the new business rescue regime.

Administrative Law

Our litigation practice is able to assist with review proceedings pertaining to administrative action. In particular, we have successfully launched and opposed numerous review applications challenging tender awards.
